Skyrim Ps3 Memory Leak. In this naming tradition this third memory patch will allow skyrim to use that available space right from the start to fix ils. You're out of your mind skyrim had terrible memory leak on ps3 including the more you play the larger your file size would get and the longer the load times would become after a while your sage was hear unplayable because moving in or out if somewhere was a 5 min load screen also that game crashed every hour most daysyeah.

I first bought it on ps3 and put in between 100 and 120 hours, eventually the memory leak made it unbearable so i traded it in and grabbed the pc version. Time for skyrim memory patch 3.0. Between 3 copies of the game i probably had around 400 hours.
Cmpope 1 Year Ago #19 Skyrim Ps3 Was Uhh.people Were Accusing Bethesda Of Catering To Microsoft And Leaving Sony In The Dust.
Katiklysm 10 years ago #1. Lookin at the task manager, memory usage is somewhere along 4.60 gb. Time for skyrim memory patch 3.0.
The Term Memory Leak Has Nothing To Do With Your Problem.

It's not even remotely noticeable in game. I remember it having a memory leak problem, at some point the game run at 1 frame per second.
I Have Made A Ddx Converter And Just Recently Completed It.
A memory leak is anything that causes a specific task or program to consume additional memory without releasing unneeded memory first. Does it also happen on vanilla profile without mods ? My guess is too high cpu/gpu temperatures.

Same as realvirtualcom, both vanilla skyrim (including messing with the.inis to be default and to include shadows) and with mods will cause the memory leak. Turning shadows on seems to make it run out of memory faster. Haven't measured fps, but, turning 360 in the game is as smooth as butter, with no stuttering.
I Know Its A Ram Memory Leak Issue, But Like I Said Its A Hunch.
So i noticed that when i opened the game the task manager would report that tesv.exe was using 2.5gb of ram, which is pretty standard, but the total amount of memory used was close to 16gb. It may not be a result of a memory leak, it may just be poor coding or the introduction of massive edits and/or scripts into a single save. With a game like skyrim, i always thought 30fps was laggy because of drops to 25, especially on ps3 with drops to 20fps.
