You can choose the coach mode but it doesn't really turn on the ai playing mode until you turn it on under a settings menu, and don't forget to turn on that rb auto special moves option in the same settings menu either. There's no real problem with that as a lot of teams have playbooks specially tailored to their personnel, but to really succeed at madden. Yeah coach mode is great, you just need a qb with high awareness, and it makes madden a strategy sports game, building a dynasty like this thru the franchise mode is a lot of fun, for those of us with patience and no twitch reflexs.
